Langeland Denmark
Langeland Denmark
Langeland is quite possibly one of the most beautiful and peaceful places in the world – it's such a shame that not too many people know about it, simply because there is very little information (there are, however, plenty of photographs) relating to it over the internet. There is only about two hundred and eighty-four square kilometers worth of its island, and it is technically a county of the country of Denmark, just to the south of the Danish mainland, existing in the Baltic Sea alongside Fyn (Funen) and Lolland (two other islands).
Still, those who have traveled to Europe and have seen Langeland Denmark almost immediately fall in love with its quiet wooded areas, stretches of seashores, rolling landscapes and romantically old architecture. Sparsely populated, the territory has nevertheless cultivated a warm and interesting community. Langeland is connected to other Denmark territories via a series of bridges, but it is otherwise almost untouched by influences that affect its tranquil aura. That is not to say that Langeland is entirely rustic – it is rather modernized, but in a more subtle, less overwhelming manner.
This site is dedicated entirely to Langeland Denmark. We sincerely hope that this would inspire you to visit – and perhaps even live in – Langeland. We will provide you with as much information as we are able, and we encourage you to take this one trip with us and have a glimpse of wonderful, beautiful Langeland.
